This is an in-depth review of the latest iteration of Amazon’s eReader, Kindle 4.
Well, not really, as we’re still waiting for the impending release of the device. The rumors have started surfacing and the device, which may not exactly be a dedicated eReader, will come soon — possibly before the holidays.
What we know about the Kindle 4 so far is that it may come with intelligent LED lighting, as seen on a Qualcomm’s misarol prototype – which should drastically enhance the reading experience. Amazon could also be releasing the next iteration of Kindle with full-fledged, tablet-like capabilities to integrate their Cloud Music Streaming and Instant Video services. Furthermore, it is rumored that Amazon will be releasing a “family of devices” – which has enticed industry experts, analysts and the alike to indulge in speculating Amazon’s plans.
Unfortunately, there isn’t much we know for the time being. Stay tuned, though, because it won’t be too late before Amazon announces its plans.
